At Paper Crane Psychology, we believe in providing an affordable service for clients with competitive fees. The standard fee for a 55 minute session with our psychologists is $220. This means that after the Medicare rebate of $93.35 per session the gap fee remaining is $126.65. Our fee schedule is below the current recommended schedule of fees set by the Australian Psychological Society (APS) of $300.00 for a 45 minute to 60 minute consultation.

Medicare Assistance
Paper Crane Psychology provides therapy under the Medicare Better Access Program for clients. You may be able to access a Mental Health Care Plan referral from your GP, enabling you to receive a Medicare rebate of $93.35 per session.
You and your GP can work together to decide whether you are eligible for this type of plan. The Medicare rebate is available for up to ten sessions per calendar year.
Private Health Cover
Therapy sessions are able to be claimed with most private health care funds if you see one of our psychologists. This is only applicable if you are not already using the Medicare rebate.
NDIS
Paper Crane Psychology can provide therapy under the NDIS. Our fee for NDIS services are $214.41 for a 60 minute consultation. We are able to provide services to clients that are privately managed or plan managed. Please contact our team to enquire about this process.
